Instances run in the region you select in the console. Choose the image, size, access method, and network settings before you confirm the launch.
For smoother launches, prepare a login profile and network profile first. You can also attach a firewall and public IP during or after provisioning.
Before you start
Account ready
you are signed in and email verification is complete.
Billing ready
a payment method is saved for usage charges.
Region selected
the console region matches where you want the instance to run, such as us-kc-1 or de-kc-1.
Launch an instance
Open Launch
go to Compute, then Launch, or open Instances and choose Launch.
Select an image
pick a platform image or one of your account images for the current region.
Choose a plan
select the MVC family and size that match CPU, memory, and disk needs.
Configure access
apply a login profile, or set SSH and password options for first login.
Configure network
apply a network profile and firewall so ports are correct at boot.
Name and review
give the instance a clear name, review price and settings, then confirm launch.
Wait for ready
watch Instances until the state is running, then open Manage to view IPs and connect.
