Every compute resource belongs to a region. The region selector in the console controls which catalog, instances, firewalls, images, and backups you see.
Pick the region closest to your users or the one that matches your compliance and latency needs. Switch regions before you launch so resources are created in the right place.

Mutire Cloud region serving United States workloads from the Kansas City area footprint.
de-kc-1
Mutire Cloud region serving European workloads from the Germany footprint.

Change the active region
Open the region menu
in the console header, select the current region label.
Choose a code
pick us-kc-1, de-kc-1, or another available region.
Confirm the switch
the console reloads resource lists for that region.
Launch in place
create instances, profiles, firewalls, and backups only after the correct region is selected.
